The Eye and Tissue Bank  (506-632-5541)

St. Joseph's Hospital is home to one of only 10 Eye and Tissue Banks in Canada accredited by the Canadian Association of Eye and Tissue Banks.  Tissue donations improve healthcare outcomes and save lives.  The Eye and Tissue Bank serves other Atlantic Regions processing corneas retrieved in St. John's Newfoundland.  The Bank also operates Horizon Health Networks Bone Bank.
