St. Joseph's Hospital plays an important role in women's health in the province of New Brunswick. Providing over 11,000 mammograms per year, St. Joseph's Hospital's Breast Health Clinic sees over 10,000 patients annually.

The clinic has two 3D Mammography units. The Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (3D image) provides advanced screening technology for all patients requiring breast imaging. This is especially important for patients with dense breast tissue. 3D Mammography provides superior image quality when compared to traditional 2D imaging.
