Breast Screening Program (506-632-5566)

St. Joseph's Hospital plays an important role in women's health in the province of New Brunswick. Providing over 11,000 mammograms per year, St. Joseph's Hospitals Breast Health Clinic sees over 10,000 patients annually. The clinic is in need of a 2nd 3D Mammography unit. The addition of a second unit will allow for the complete transition from a conventional (2D image) to Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (3D image) providing advanced screening technology for all patients requiring breast imaging.

This is especially important for patients with dense breast tissue. 3D Mammography provides superior image quality when compared to traditional 2D imaging. More importantly detecting and treating cancer earlier saves lives. Please join us in supporting excellence in breast screening for all! ​
