Mrs. Kathi HurleyKathi brings over four decades of diverse nursing experience to her role, with a notable focus on the last 24 years dedicated to the Health and Aging Program in Fredericton and Saint John. Throughout her career, she has actively contributed to interdisciplinary teams, spearheaded Quality Improvement initiatives, and conducted research aimed at enhancing the quality of life for patients living with dementia in long-term care and hospital settings.
She earned her Bachelor of Nursing from the University of New Brunswick in 2005, followed by a Master of Nursing in 2012. Kathi's commitment to continuous learning has enabled her to evolve as a clinical leader, particularly in implementing evidence-based nursing interventions for older adults. Outside of work, Kathi finds fulfillment in her family, including her grown children, their partners, and her grandchildren. In her leisure time, she enjoys activities such as biking, running, and yoga, with future aspirations to learn rug hooking and golfing. |
