The Alrajab's arrived in Saint John just over 4 years ago. And they’ve relied on St. Joseph’s for their diverse healthcare needs since then.
“From the beginning the staff at St. Joseph’s have cared for my family to make sure everything was okay, Hozayfa said. When we arrived, my daughter was malnourished, and we were worried. The team at St. Joseph’s supported us and she is now a happy, healthy little girl. We are so thankful for that.”
The Alrajab family knows your kind heart is behind the compassion they feel. Even through a translator, it was clear this sweet family feels your love. They thanked us over and over for allowing them to give back to the hospital that has given so much to them.
Hozayfa and Malak arrived in Saint John with their three oldest girls. Their two youngest children (ages 3 and 18 months) were born here.
Giving birth during COVID meant added challenges, which is yet another reason Malak is so grateful for the compassionate care she receives from St. Joseph’s Women’s Health Centre.
“From the first months of my pregnancies, through to the delivery of our children, we feel so happy when we come to St. Joseph’s. They are so helpful and have always welcomed us,” Malak told us.
“The team shares in our happiness. When we had our third girl they celebrated with us and when our boy was born we celebrated again,” Hozayfa added.
The Alrajab children are lovely! They’re happy, busy and respectful. It was heartwarming to see how comfortable they are at St. Joe’s!
Families like the Alrajab's receive so much more than medical care here at St. Joe’s. They are welcomed and treated like family. As you can imagine, that means the world when you’re starting over in a new country and learning a new language.
