Heather Higgins

As Facility Manager of St. Joseph’s Hospital with Horizon Health, Heather sees every day the difference that compassionate care and community support make in the lives of patients and families.

She is proud to serve on the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation Board, working to strengthen the partnership between the hospital and the community it serves.

Heather has built her career around improving how health care is delivered, coordinated, and experienced. Her experience spans hospital operations, community health, health system improvement, and applied health research, including leadership roles with Heart & Stroke New Brunswick and the Extra-Mural Program.

Heather holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Law from Dalhousie University and a Master of Applied Health Services Research from the University of New Brunswick. Outside of work, Heather enjoys exploring New Brunswick by gravel bike, kayaking its rivers, and running and hiking along its scenic coastal trails.
