Mrs. Sarah MesserSarah is the Facility Administrator of St. Joseph’s Hospital and a Clinical Director within Horizon Health. A Registered Nurse, Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing degree from University of New Brunswick in 2007. Sarah completed a Master of Education degree from University of New Brunswick in 2019.
Sarah has held numerous leadership positions within Horizon Health Network, such as Nursing Supervisor of St. Joseph’s Hospital, Clinical Nurse Specialist of the Health & Aging program, Nurse Manager of General Surgery, and Clinical Director of Surgery, Anesthesia and Critical Care. She is a continuous learner and has obtained numerous certifications such as Certification in Medical-Surgical Nursing from the Canadian Nurses Association. Sarah is currently completing a Graduate Certificate in Leadership & Management through University of Toronto. Sarah is passionate about improving access to health care and providing excellent patient care within our province, including at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Sarah resides in Saint John with her husband, Chris, who is a member of the Saint John Police Force. They have two children and many pets. Sarah enjoys playing ice hockey, ball hockey and skiing in her leisure time. She is also a passionate fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. |
