​Kent is teaming up with St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation to host an exciting pallet build challenge in support of St. Joe’s Prostate Clinic. The 1st Annual Pallet Build will tie in with September for St. Joe’s to engage the entire community, and raise awareness and funds for St. Joe’s Prostate Clinic and Men’s Health. The event will encourage tradespeople, artists, individuals, schools, groups, and community members to construct useful items such as furniture and toys as well as novelty items. 

THE BIG BUILD


​For ​The Big Build, twenty teams of four will face off at Kent East Saint John to construct and showcase their most amazing, creative, up-cycling pallet projects. A celebrity judging panel will select the winners. Then, via an online auction, the community will have the opportunity to bid on completed projects.

10am-2pm: The Build 
2pm: Judging & announcement of the winner

Team registration is $750. We encourage team fundraising and/or sponsorships, and we encourage teams to issue a challenge to another group, business, or organization. Needless to say, we also encourage lots of team spirit, and fun with team names and uniforms!

THE POCKET BUILD


​The Pocket Build will engage individuals, and will take place off-site in driveways, garages, and yards around the region. Projects can be registered with a minimum $20 donation to St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation. Photos of completed projects will be submitted to our judging panel and selected projects will be posted in the online auction. Proceeds from the auction also support St. Joe’s Prostate Clinic.
