Arlene Dunn


​With over 30 years of experience in labour relations within the construction industry, I have dedicated my career to improving the lives of individuals and communities. As the CEO of the Saint John Construction Association, I have witnessed firsthand the importance of supporting the well-being of both workers and their families. My passion for advocating for underrepresented groups and advancing mental health and addiction recovery initiatives has driven me to create impactful programs, such as a substance use rehabilitation program in Newfoundland and Labrador, and partner with Health Canada to address the opioid crisis on a national scale.

I am deeply drawn to the St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation Board because of its commitment to enhancing health outcomes and supporting those in need. The foundation's focus on improving community health aligns with my own values of fostering well-being and inclusivity. I look forward to bringing my expertise in community advocacy and healthcare initiatives to the board, working alongside other dedicated leaders to make a meaningful and lasting impact on the health of our community.
