Saint John Dragon Boat Festival

The Saint John Dragon Boat Festival is a wild combination of exciting team dragon racing, exotic Chinese cultural dances, traditional and contemporary musical performances and the inviting tastes and smells of food from around the world. Over 1200 participants and an estimated of 8000 spectators will pack the shores of the Kennebecasis River as they watch the racing of the brightly coloured boats and soak in the sights and sounds of this amazing day.

Canducky Derby

The Canducky Derby is an annual event that is organized by St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation. Funds raised help support the programs and services at St. Joseph's Hospital. Tickets are sold on 15,000 little yellow ducks that are tagged and the tag numbers correspond to the ticket numbers. The ducks are launched into the Reversing Falls and swim to the finish line at Ocean Steel. The first 15 ducks over the finish line win prizes for their owners. First prize is $10,000 dollars!

Little Joe's Marathon Adventure

Little Joe's Marathon Adventure is a great way to help St. Joseph's Hospital reach it's goals while you pursue your own health and fitness goals. Little Joe's Marathon Team will train for and travel to the Disney World Marathon, Half Marathon and "Goofy's Race and a Half" January 12 & 13 2008.

Play Ball for St. Joes

In 2006 St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation Announced the Retirement of Play Ball. In 17 years, Play Ball accomplished some great things for St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Raised 2.2million dollars in support of equipment, research, and education.
Provided a first class event to our community
Connected with our Hospital and our Community at large.
Built awareness for our Foundation and the Hospital.
Made a significant difference in the quality of health care delivered to our community.
Helped to build a new St. Joseph’s.
