St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation raises funds for equipment, research, and education at St. Joseph's Hospital a facility of the Atlantic Health Sciences Corporation; it manages those funds professionally; it develops valuable partnerships with individuals, staff, community organizations, the business sector and government for the benefit of St. Joseph's Hospital.

This year marks the 25th anniversary since the incorporation of St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation. Together with our supporters we have purchased major capital equipment for every department of the hospital, we have provided educational opportunities for staff, patients, their families and the general public.

Our success is built on the legacy and reputation of the Sisters of Charity who founded St. Joseph's Hospital in 1914. This legacy is endorsed everyday by the staff at St. Joseph's Hospital, who are well-known for their caring and compassionate service to our patients.

St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation was established in 1982 to carry on the fundraising mission of the Sisters of Charity of the Immaculate Conception and is now the major fundraising body for St. Joseph’s Hospital.
